Mike Golic — Mike & Mike in the Morning

Mike Golic is co-host of ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike in the Morning show (6-10 a.m. ET) which premiered October 12, 1998 and is carried by more than 200 affiliates nationwide. He also serves as an analyst for ESPN and ESPN2’s NFL studio programming, as well as for the networks’ college football game coverage.

Golic joined ESPN in 1995 as an NFL reporter/analyst for Sunday NFL Countdown. Since then he has worked as the color commentator for the Arena Football League (1996-98) and the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars pre-season games (1995-98). In 1998, Golic began serving as college football analyst for ESPN and ABC, and was an original analyst for NFL 2Night, the five-night-per-week news and information program on ESPN2. That program ran through the 2002 season. Beginning in 2003, he held a similar position on ESPN2’s NFL Live.

Golic and his ESPN Radio co-host Mike Greenberg, with a special guest appearance by Michael Vick, were featured in the Radio network’s second on-air television promo.

Golic is a nine-year NFL veteran, playing defensive tackle for the Houston Oilers, Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins. During his seven years in Philadelphia, he began his television career with a weekly segment on the Randall Cunningham Show. He received a Mid-Atlantic Region Emmy Award for his feature “Golic’s Got It.”

Golic, born Dec. 12, 1962, is a 1985 graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he served as captain of the football team during his senior season. He also wrestled for the Irish.

Golic is married with three children.

Mike Greenberg — Mike & Mike in the Morning

Mike Greenberg joined ESPN in September 1996 as an anchor for ESPNEWS, ESPN’s 24-hour sports news network, which launched in November of that year. He was named co-host of The Morning Show on ESPN Radio on December 30, 1999, and continues his anchor role for the 6pm ESPN SportsCenter.

Prior to joining ESPN Greenberg had worked as a sports anchor/reporter for the regional cable news network CLTV in Chicago, Ill., since April 1995. While there, he covered all local sports teams for the 24-hour cable news network, anchored sportscasts and hosted SportsPage, a one-hour Sunday night program featuring live guests and viewer calls.

In addition, Greenberg had worked for Chicago’s WSCR-Radio (1992-96) serving as a reporter (covering events including the World Series, Super Bowl, etc.) and talk show host.

From 1994-95, Greenberg worked as a reporter for SportsChannel Chicago. He also worked as a syndicated sports columnist for the California-based Copley News Service, writing a weekly column (1993-95). Previously Greenberg worked for Chicago’s WMAQ-Radio as sports anchor/reporter from 1989-92.

Born August 6, 1967, Greenberg is a 1989 graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. The New York City native is married and has two children.

Colin Cowherd — The Herd

Colin Cowherd joined ESPN Radio in 2004 with the debut of The Herd, which airs 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. ET weekdays. The Herd features topical commentary on the day’s most important sports news, perspective on the top stories, interviews with the biggest newsmakers, and entertaining daily segments including “Spanning the Globe” and “Rants of the Day.”

"We work our tails off and take sports seriously, but can laugh at ourselves too,” Cowherd says. “The Herd has a different sound and vibe, and we hope fans enjoy it. My goal has always been to produce the best show possible, and ESPN’s commitment and resources make this a perfect fit."

Cowherd joined ESPN Radio from KFXX 910-AM “The Fan” in Portland, Ore. where he hosted the popular three-hour morning-drive program The Herd. He also anchored weeknight sports and “Sports Sunday” for KGW Northwest NewsChannel 8.

Cowherd’s experience includes serving as sports anchor at Tampa’s WTVT-TV, where he received a local Sports Emmy for Buc Sunday, and as sports director at KVBC-TV in Las Vegas, where he was a multiple recipient of Nevada’s Sportscaster-of-the-Year award. He began his career as play-by-play voice for the Pacific Coast League’s Las Vegas Stars.

Doug Gottlieb — The Pulse

Doug Gottlieb joined ESPN in September 2003 as co-host of ESPN Radio’s GameNight, which is carried by more than 300 affiliates nationwide Monday-Friday from 7 p.m.-1 a.m. ET (or starting at 7:30 p.m. following the 30-minute radio-version of ESPN’s popular Pardon the Interruption on some stations).

Prior to joining ESPN, Gottlieb co-hosted a midday sports-talk show at ESPN Radio affiliate WWLS 640-AM “The Sports Animal” in Oklahoma, City. Additionally, he has done and will continue to provide courtside analysis on select ESPN and ESPN2 college basketball games.

Prior to embarking on a sports radio career, Gottlieb played point guard for Eddie Sutton and the Oklahoma State Cowboys, leading the nation in assists in 1999, and finishing second in 2000. He graduated in 2000 with a degree in marketing holding every assist record at OSU and in the Big 12 conference.

After graduating, Gottlieb played professionally internationally, in France, Russia and Israel, as well as domestically in the USBL, CBA, ABA, and the Los Angeles Lakers summer team in 2001. Gottlieb has won a NEBL championship as well as a Russian Basketball Federation Championship.

John Seibel — Football Tonight

John Seibel has worked for ESPN since Fall 2000. He is currently the host of the ESPN Radio show Football Tonight and one of the most versatile sportscasters for the network, contributing to both ESPN Radio and ESPNEWS.

Since 2006, he has hosted The NFL on ESPN Radio Sundays during the NFL regular season. On the television side, he hosts ESPNEWS and also fills in on The Pulse on Saturday afternoons. He is known for his touch of humor to the lead stories of the day and his entertaining interviews with newsmakers.

Prior to joining ESPN, Seibel worked at two different local news networks, KIMO-TV in Alaska and KQTV in St. Joseph, Missouri. While at KIMO-TV, he earned numerous awards, including Alaska Sports Anchor of the Year in 1997, Alaska Broadcasters Association Best Play-by-Play 1998-2000, Best Live Sports Event 1998-2000 and Best Entertainment Program in 2000.

He is a 1997 graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism. Before attending college, he served in the United States Air Force as a communications specialist from 1989-1994.

Orestes Destrade — Baseball Tonight

Orestes Destrade came to the United States with his family when he was six. He attended Florida College for two years, where he was a JUCO All-American selection in baseball.

After college, he played four seasons at the major league level; 1987 with the New York Yankees, 1988 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and 1993 and 1994 for the Florida Marlins. He also played 5 seasons (1989-1992 and 1995) for the Seibu Lions of the Japanese Pacific League, where he led the league in home runs for three consecutive years.

Destrade currently appears on ESPN's Baseball Tonight and co-hosts ESPN Radio's SportsNation with John Seibel. He has also provided color commentary for the 2006 World Baseball Classic and the 2007 Little League World Series.

Jason Smith — AllNight

Jason is a graduate of Syracuse University, beginning his career at ESPN as a production assistant. After immersing himself in the world of TV production and writing skits for Sportscenter anchor Craig Kilborn, Jason moved out west in 1999 to become sports producer for KABC-TV in Los Angeles.

Flirting with the idea of doing radio, Jason was a fill-in for a host on XTRA Sports 1150, thus leading to the start of his radio career. In 2004, Jason returned to ESPN Radio and began filling in for shows and hosting on weekends with Mel Kiper Jr, thus leading to his permanent place on AllNight.
