| LHU makes soccer appointment |

In a staff meeting this morning, LHU Athletic Director, Sharon Taylor announced current Lock Haven University Men's Soccer Coach Doug Moore has been named Head Women's Soccer Coach, replacing Heather Davis who is departing for the same position at the University of New England at the end of this academic year. There is only one scheduling conflict between the two teams which sources within the LHU Athletics Department feel can be resolved. By naming Moore now, LHU will be able to keep the recruting process intact this year. An additional assistant coaching position is expected to be opened and applications accepted in the coming weeks. All of these moves await the approval of LHU President Dr. Keith Miller. |
